Job Summary We are seeking a seasoned Chartered Accountant to enhance our tax department as a Tax Manager. This pivotal role will involve leading our tax practice, focusing on UAE VAT and Corporate Tax law, and delivering strategic tax planning services to our esteemed clients. Your expertise will be crucial in navigating complex tax landscapes and ensuring optimal compliance and benefits for our clients. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage tax compliance and advisory services, ensuring adherence to UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
- Develop and implement innovative tax planning strategies to optimize clients\' tax positions.
- Provide expert advice on tax implications of business transactions and new tax laws.
- Mentor and supervise the tax team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Engage in business development activities to expand the firms client base and tax services offerings.
- Liaise with tax authorities and manage tax audits and disputes.
- Prepare and review complex tax calculations and returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Certified Chartered Accountant, with a strong academic background.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in tax management, preferably with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax law. Understanding of DTAA and Transfer Pricing.
- Proven track record in tax strategy, compliance, and consulting within a dynamic business environment.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical abilities and detail-oriented approach.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage client relationships and internal teams.
