We're hiring for Talent Acquisition Specialist - IT
Location: Abu Dhabi,UAE
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
• Identify, source, and engage top IT talent across various platforms (job boards, social media, LinkedIn, industry-specific forums, etc.).
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates for current and future IT job openings.
• Collaborate with hiring managers and department heads to develop clear, detailed, and accurate job descriptions for IT roles.
• Ensure job descriptions accurately reflect the technical skills, qualifications, and experience required.
• Conduct initial phone screenings to evaluate candidates' technical skills, experience, and cultural fit.
• Schedule and coordinate technical interviews with hiring managers or subject-matter experts to assess candidates' technical proficiency.
• Evaluate candidates through technical assessments, coding challenges, and behavioral interviews.
• Assess the suitability of candidates for a variety of IT roles, such as software developers, systems administrators, data engineers, network engineers, and cybersecurity professionals.
• Work closely with hiring managers and IT teams to understand specific technical requirements and team culture.
• Provide guidance and recommendations on salary expectations, market trends, and candidate availability.
• Extend job offers, discuss compensation packages, and negotiate terms to ensure alignment with candidate expectations and company policies.
• Assist in finalizing the hiring process, including preparing offer letters and ensuring smooth onboarding.
• Promote the organization's employer brand to attract top talent and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
• Represent the company at job fairs, networking events, and industry conferences.
• Stay informed about current IT market trends, salary benchmarks, and the availability of in-demand technical skills.
• Provide regular reporting on recruitment metrics, candidate feedback, and time-to-fill for positions.
• Ensure a positive and transparent hiring process for candidates by providing regular communication, feedback, and guidance.
• Build strong relationships with candidates, regardless of the outcome, to ensure positive long-term connections.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an IT recruiter, technical recruiter, or talent acquisition specialist, ideally with a focus on hiring for IT roles.
• Experience in sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates for roles in software development, IT infrastructure, data science, cybersecurity, and other technical positions.
• Technical Knowledge :
• A basic understanding of IT concepts and technologies, including programming languages, cloud platforms, networking, cybersecurity, and data management.
• Familiarity with the IT recruitment landscape, including the skills and qualifications required for various technical roles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with both candidates and internal teams.
• Excellent interviewing skills with the ability to assess candidates' technical and soft skills.
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and recruitment tools.
• Ability to manage multiple open positions and candidates simultaneously.
• Certified Recruitment Professional (CRP) or SHRM-CP would be added advantage.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate candidates' qualifications and match them to job requirements.
• Creative sourcing abilities to find candidates for hard-to-fill IT roles or emerging technologies.
• Ability to effectively manage a high volume of candidates, interviews, and job openings while ensuring a high-quality candidate experience.
