##### Talent Acquisition Partner

We're looking to appoint a proactive, multi-tasking Talent Acquisition Partner at M&C Saatchi UAE to own end-to-end recruitment across the UAE. This is a newly created role that will report into the Group Talent Acquisition Lead, whilst working on a regular basis with the UAE Leadership team on hiring priorities. This is a full-time role based in Dubai.

##### ABOUT THE ROLE

The Talent Acquisition Partner will be part of the M&C Saatchi UAE People Team, with access to the broader M&C Saatchi UK Group People Team and their resources. This role will work closely with the senior leadership of M&C Saatchi UAE to create and execute upon a talent attraction and acquisition strategy that delivers against their specific hiring needs.


Success for this role will be to fill vacancies with quality hires, minimise agency spend by direct sourcing and building a pipeline of talent. More specifically, this role will focus on the following key activities:

• Hands-On Recruitment: the primary focus of this role will be to lead and execute recruitment activity across all roles across the business. This will typically involve direct sourcing with a key KPI being to reduce reliance and spend on recruitment agencies. They will move candidates through the workflow on the applicant tracking system, screen, and interview candidates, schedule interviews and assessments and manage candidate and agency communications including feedback. Work closely with hiring managers through this process. Deliver a seamless candidate and hiring manager experience throughout.
• Nailing the brief: work with Department Heads to define a compelling job description for each role, which articulates to potential candidates what skills and experience we expect and captures the traits that make a candidate 'M&C Saatchi.' Clearly differentiate between levels of seniority within each department.
• Recruitment Systems, Data & Insight: ensure full adoption of the applicant tracking system across the business and move candidates through the workflow. Provide training to managers as required. Create insightful, accurate and up-to-date Talent Acquisition reports that support action planning and decision making. This will include summary information around the number of live vacancies, average time to hire, agency versus direct hire ratio amongst other metrics. Derive insight from data and use this to inform future talent acquisition priorities and plans for each business.
• Talent Mapping a Pipelining: map the market to identify where desired skills and talent exist for different roles. Spark conversation and make connection with talent that resides in competitors and other businesses and introduce them to relevant roles or business. Find innovative ways to ignite their interest in our business and maintain regular contact over time. Explore fresh ways to find talent.

• Credible Recruiter: You have considerable experience in hands-on recruitment in a fast-paced environment. Ideally you have worked in a creative industry e.g., communications, branding, design, insight, innovation so you are able to hit the ground running since you have experience of the skills and language associated with our talent acquisition needs at all levels. You are well-versed in working with hiring managers and asking precise questions to design a clear brief. You know how to activate the right talent attraction strategies, ideally having an established network of strong candidates. You can turn your hand to direct sourcing and headhunting.
• Track record in strong hiring practices and decision making: You are an exceptional interviewer, able to follow a methodology that differentiates good talent from great, and delivering an exceptional candidate experience at the same time. Your hiring decisions and recommendations are always substantiated, and trusted by those around you - you are known for sound judgement.
• Brand Ambassador & Cultural Advocate: You understand the importance of creating an incredible first impression for candidates; epitomising the brand in all interactions. You deeply understand the nuances of the organisations culture and can talk with authority to others about the business to build their understanding and awareness.
• Relationship Builder: You love meeting new people and igniting connections. You build strong relationships with a broad, varied range of hiring managers and external stakeholders. Your strong listening skills ensure they are heard, and you identify their needs and priorities. You are adept at stakeholder management and working with demanding stakeholders, not afraid to challenge those around you where you see value can be derived.
• Resilient Multi-Tasker: You work at pace and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You enjoy the challenge of juggling several projects at the same time and can identify priorities, switching focus with ease. No task is too big or too small, and you will willingly roll up your sleeves to immerse yourself in what needs to be done to find and bring on board the right talent.
• Quality Finisher: You have a keen eye for precision and pay acute attention to detail. You can create succinct, clear, and beautiful job specs, and communications. All your copy and documents create clarity and understanding for the reader. To this end, you are highly skilled in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Problem Solver & Fresh Thinking: You love to find creative ways of solving talent and hiring problems. You are driven by continuous improvement and proactively seek out opportunities to modernise processes and systems.
