Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

o Making garments (e.g. gowns, dresses, blouses, shirts, pants, skirts, and jackets):

o Marking patterns and designs or using pre-designed ones to cut fabric into the necessary shapes;

o being able to draft, drape, and translate designs from concept to delivery;

o being able to imagine how the end garment will look like from the pattern design; and

o Altering and repairing garments:

o Fixing torn or damaged clothing, as well as adjusting clothes to better fit customers; and

o ensuring proper measurements, adjustments, and fittings.

o Working directly with customers:

o Discussing with customers regarding their desired specifications for clothes;

o giving customers recommendations regarding fabrics, colours, and styles;

o showing customers samples of different fabrics and explaining the qualities of each one;

o taking measurements; and

o ensuring alterations are done on time for when the customer returns.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED2,000\.00 per month

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
