Job Description

Responsible for the stitching fitted staff uniform and maintenance of hotel linen.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Duties include but are not limited to):

Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service

Alters and repairs linen, uniforms, curtains, drapes

Measure uniforms for new employees and makes adjustments as required

Replaces missing buttons from uniforms and laundered guest clothing

Repairs guest clothing as requested

Ensure that the work area is kept clear, clean and free of debris

Ensure that equipment and machines are kept in good working condition, and report any equipment that is malfunctioning

Assists the Uniform Attendants when required

Assist in on job training of new Tailors as required

Attend to any training courses given by Housekeeping and Human Resources

Perform any other duties deemed reasonable by Management.

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

- At least 1-2 years experience in the hotel as tailor

- Good in communication

- Knowledge in the Laundry Department

-Willing to work and relocate in Fujairah
