YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead studies on the safety of batteries for xHEV Hybrid vehicles and set up test plans. Monitor the tests and analyze the results. Follow regulatory developments and participate in working groups on international regulations concerning battery safety. Contribution in the definition of the technical policies, standards and participate in the writing of rules relating to the safety of traction batteries. Deliverables : Specifications and technical synthesis for Design Review Validation Plan, Test Request, Instrumentation Sheet and Validation Reports Standards (Procedure, Technical Policies)

YOUR PROFILE:

Bachelor's or master's degree in chemistry, materials, electrochemistry Over 2 years of proven experience in functional safety engineering, particularly in Batteries Familiarity with relevant functional safety standards like ISO 26262 or FMVSS, and their practical application Skilled in hazard analysis, risk assessment, FMEA, and fault tree analysis. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a collaborative team player. Effective communication skills to manage communication with the different stakeholders of the project. Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
