Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Swimming Pool Technician to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pool maintenance and repair, with a comprehensive understanding of the unique requirements of operating in the UAE climate. This role involves maintaining, servicing, and repairing swimming pools, ensuring they are safe and clean for use.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pool Maintenance:
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, vacuuming, brushing pool walls and floors, and skimming debris from the water surface.
• Check and maintain pool water chemistry by testing water and adding appropriate chemicals to ensure safe and clean water conditions.
• Equipment Maintenance:
• Inspect, maintain, and repair pool equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, and other pool-related machinery.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Ensure all work is conducted in compliance with local health and safety regulations and standards.
• Conduct regular safety checks and inspections to ensure pool areas are safe for users.
• Client Interaction:
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on the status of their pools and any necessary repairs or maintenance.
• Advise clients on proper pool care and maintenance practices.
• Documentation:
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed, including chemical levels, service dates, and any issues identified.
• Prepare service reports and provide detailed documentation for clients.

Qualifications and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in pool maintenance is a plus.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a swimming pool technician, with significant experience in Dubai.
• In-depth knowledge of pool water chemistry, maintenance techniques, and equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Familiarity with Dubai's health and safety regulations related to swimming pools.
• Valid UAE driving license.

Preferred Skills:

• Professional certification from recognized pool technician programs (e.g., Certified Pool Operator - CPO).
• Basic plumbing and electrical skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
