Job Description

Responsibilities: • Monitors, handles, and installs all chemicals for swimming pools.
• Performs cleaning of swimming pools.
• Reports pool maintenance to maintenance work.
• Responsible for ordering and maintaining inventory of chemicals, parts, and supplies as needed.
• Works with skilled plumbers, painters, carpenters, electricians or other tradesmen and grounds employees where some knowledge of the basic operations and methods involved is necessary.
• Repairs fences and gates.
• Does semi-skilled plumbing and minor repair work on doors, windows, roofs, floors, and other building parts.
• Assists with installation of electrical wiring and fixtures.
• Performs semi-skilled painting work. o Assembles furniture and other structures. o Makes minor adjustments and keeps equipment in good repair. o Performs heavy manual labor, custodial, and grounds work as directed. o Maintains maintenance records and schedules. o Maintains log of work completed and orders necessary supplies. o Performs related duties as assigned.



Requirements: • Read, write, and speak English sufficiently to successfully perform required duties.
• Safely use and operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, and equipment used in buildings.
• Understand and follow both oral and written directions.
• Perform basic mathematical computations using addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Meet physical requirements of the job.
• Establish and maintain effective work relationships with those contacted in the performance of required duties.
