We are working with a prestigious global investor based in Abu Dhabi. They are looking to bring on a VP or SVP to join their entertainment investments team. We are working with a prestigious global investor based in Abu Dhabi. They are looking to bring on a VP or SVP to join their entertainment investments team. The position is focused on bringing in IPs, media rights and maximising the existing infrastructure for gaming, Esports, community engagement and sports events. What the job involves
- Strategic planning and execution, including bringing in intellectual property (IP) and media rights.
- Oversight of the existing entertainment portfolio with a focus on gaming, community engagement, events, and sports.
- Maximizing utilisation of existing infrastructure and increasing community engagement.
- Developing and executing a comprehensive strategy for the entertainment sector and managing significant capital deployment across various investment vehicles.
- Directing the development of pitch decks and investment proposals to present to the Investment Committee.
- Extensive buy side investment experience in gaming, Esports, sports, and community engagement.
- Strong understanding of the value chain within the entertainment industry.
- Proven track record of driving innovation and growth in the entertainment sector with the ability to develop and execute a comprehensive strategy.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- A Bachelor\'s and/or Master\'s, degree from a top-tier university.
- The ability to be based full-time in Abu Dhabi (relocation if required).
