Job Overview

:

We are seeking a highly skilled Surveyor with proven experience in municipal surveying to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in conducting surveys for municipal infrastructure projects, including roadways, drainage systems, utilities, and land development. This role requires a combination of technical surveying skills and an understanding of municipal standards and regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accurate survey data and supporting the planning, design, and construction phases of municipal projects.

Key Responsibilities

:

Land and Site Surveys

: Conduct accurate topographic, boundary, and construction surveys for municipal infrastructure projects such as roadways, parks, utilities, and other public works.

Municipal Regulations

: Ensure that all surveys comply with local municipal regulations, zoning laws, and building codes.

Data Collection & Analysis

: Gather and analyze data related to elevations, boundaries, utilities, and other physical features of land to support project planning, design, and development.

Mapping & CAD

: Use CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) to create and maintain maps, drawings, and survey documents for municipal projects.

Construction Support

: Provide survey services for construction teams, including setting out project benchmarks, reference points, and grid lines to ensure correct construction alignment.

Collaboration with Municipal Authorities

: Liaise with local government agencies, municipal planners, engineers, and contractors to provide surveying support and resolve any discrepancies or challenges encountered during projects.

Report Preparation

: Prepare and present detailed survey reports, field notes, and other documentation for project stakeholders, ensuring clarity and accuracy.

Utility Mapping

: Assist in locating and mapping underground utilities, including water, sewage, gas, and electrical systems, in coordination with utility companies and local authorities.

Quality Assurance

: Ensure all surveying work meets the municipality's quality standards and industry best practices.

Permit Assistance

: Support the permitting process by providing necessary survey data and assisting with permit applications and approvals.

Site Inspection & Monitoring

: Conduct site inspections and monitoring to track the progress of construction and ensure compliance with survey plans and municipal regulations.

Mentorship & Teamwork

: Provide guidance to junior surveyors and assist with team collaboration to ensure the successful completion of municipal projects.

Qualifications

&

Experience

Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

experience in the civil field/ substation works/ precast

Must be an Approved Surveyor by Abu Dhabi Municipality.
