Job Title:

Surveyor (UAE Experience Required)

Key Responsibilities:



Conduct land surveys to determine boundaries, elevations, distances, and angles for construction, development, and land-use planning. Perform topographic surveys to map out terrain, as well as boundary, construction, and utility surveys for various types of projects. Use advanced survey equipment such as Total Stations, GPS, and Laser Scanners to collect precise measurements and data. Interpret and analyze survey data to prepare accurate and detailed reports, maps, and drawings that support project planning and development. Research legal records, land titles, and maps to verify boundary lines and resolve any disputes regarding property ownership or land use. Ensure all survey work is conducted in compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and safety protocols. Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure survey data is applied correctly throughout the project lifecycle. Supervise or train junior survey staff and assist in their professional development. Prepare and maintain survey records, field notes, and reports to document the progress and results of all surveying activities. Assist with the calculation of material quantities and estimates for construction projects based on survey data. Conduct post-survey analysis and provide feedback on potential discrepancies or issues discovered during surveying activities. Perform site inspections and evaluations to ensure that measurements and designs are accurately executed in the field.

Key Skills & Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or a related field. Proven experience as a Surveyor or in a similar role, with practical knowledge of surveying principles and techniques. Proficiency in using modern survey equipment, including Total Stations, GPS, and Laser Scanners. Strong understanding of local zoning laws, land regulations, and construction codes. Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, construction plans, and legal documents such as land titles. Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills to ensure accuracy in measurements and data collection. Good knowledge of survey software for data analysis, mapping, and drawing generation. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to prepare clear and concise reports. Ability to work independently, as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams. Good physical stamina, as fieldwork may require outdoor activities in varying weather conditions. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Valid driving license for site visits and travel to various project locations. Conduct detailed surveys of building facades to assess their condition, identifying structural defects, wear, or damage. Prepare comprehensive reports highlighting the findings of facade surveys, including recommendations for repairs, maintenance, or replacement. Inspect materials, structural components, weatherproofing systems, and safety features of facades, identifying potential risks or issues. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to recommend solutions and ensure that necessary repairs or refurbishments are implemented correctly. Perform both visual inspections and use specialized tools (e.g., drones, laser scanners) to detect hidden issues in facades (e.g., water ingress, corrosion, cracking). Review and analyze architectural plans, drawings, and specifications to support facade assessment work. Stay updated on local UAE building codes, regulations, and best practices for facade inspections and repairs. Ensure all surveys and assessments are completed in compliance with safety standards and relevant regulations. Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to provide clear communication and timely reporting. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and work is completed to a high standard. Conduct follow-up inspections after repairs to verify that all issues have been addressed and meet the required standards.

Key Skills & Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Building Surveying, or a related field. Minimum of 05 years of proven experience as a Facade Surveyor, with a focus on projects within the UAE. In-depth knowledge of UAE building regulations, facade materials, and construction methods. Hands-on experience with facade inspection equipment such as drones, thermal imaging cameras, and laser scanning tools. Strong technical knowledge of structural integrity assessment, weatherproofing, and other critical building facade components. Familiarity with facade maintenance, repair techniques, and retrofitting methods. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to create detailed technical reports and interact with clients and project teams. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify complex facade issues and recommend solutions. Ability to manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines. Valid UAE driving license is mandatory for site visits and travel across different locations.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
