: Job Purpose & ScopeSupervises and monitor the operations of the Wellhead Platforms (WHPs) including downhole operations and ensures that the oil production and water injection per well area and overall are controlled as per the company requirements, and that well data is accurately collected for reservoir monitoring purposes. Ensures that operations are conducted safely, efficiently and economicallyPrincipal Accountabilities\xc2\xa7 Carry out all responsibilities in accordance with company\'s commercial, production, maintenance, safety and environmental policies and procedures.\xc2\xa7 Manage the field operations in a safe and prudent manner so as to minimize the risk to personnel, company property and the environment; and act on behalf of the Operation Manager when required.\xc2\xa7 Ensure the competency of WHP operators by carrying out SVQ assessment and train them in all aspects of production, e.g. wellsite, stimulation and processing to be an effective operating force in the field.\xc2\xa7 Controls, monitors and directs opportunities for training and development of employees under his direction (with emphasis on UAE Nationals) and assesses their progress.\xc2\xa7 Supervises oil production and water injection and the operation/injection facilities, ensuring that all standing orders and defined working procedures and safety instructions are enforced so that safe and continuous production and injection can be maintained.\xc2\xa7 Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of workers, Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other departments, Maintain operational communication with all Company counterparts.\xc2\xa7 Participates in the pre-commissioning and commissioning schedule in close cooperation with all other stakeholders, vendors, subcontractors and operation.\xc2\xa7 Coordinating equipment inspections and reporting potential concerns to management, overseeing the maintenance of facility equipment and order material as needed or requested.\xc2\xa7 Supervises production tests of oil and gas on wellhead to ensure capability to meet production targets in terms of quantity and quality and implements sampling program in coordination with SUFD to ensure control quality analysis can take place.\xc2\xa7 Supervises the preparation of wellhead for hook ups and maintenance work or for servicing to be carried out and ensures WHPs are prepared for special operations and ensuring that standing instructions are fully followed.\xc2\xa7 Plans the logistics schedule to obtain most effective use of subordinates and contractor crews, and minimizes flying / navigation times.\xc2\xa7 Supervises contractors undertaking main wireline operations, ensuring that downhole operations are conducted at a minimum cost consistent with safety and overall efficiency and in accordance to standard wireline instructions.\xc2\xa7 Oversight of well services jack up barge, well head maintenance and well services work boats\xc2\xa7 Optimize utilization of resources to deliver work program activities within schedule and budget.\xc2\xa7 Implement lessons learned from other projects in the new Project Phase.\xc2\xa7 Prepares schedules for daily, weekly and monthly work programmes of crews, taking action to ensure work programs are executed, work problems are resolved and recommended measures in place to improve productivity.\xc2\xa7 Plans and supervises the transfer of equipment between wellhead platforms by under slung moves. Prepares all materials and equipment needed for downhole operations, including specifying special tools required, and ensures this is taken to sites before the start of work.\xc2\xa7 Checks the effectiveness of all equipment in use, tests new equipment where it is considered to be suitable, and ensures all necessary equipment and spare parts are requested.Performs other related or similar duties as assigned including technical reviews of modifications and changes to operations documentations, Manuals, Operation Procedures and Standing instructions.
