DescriptionROLE PURPOSE:The primary focus of this role of the Supply Chain Project Manager is to support and ensure theeffective and efficient execution of the business requirements. Responsible for the business supportfunctions of demand planning, artwork change, IBP (Sales & Operation Planning), projects coordinationthat impact the Demand team. The Supply Chain Project Manager will report to the Head of Supply Chain & projects EME.RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead all Supply Chain related projects, including but not limited to;
\xc2\xb7 liaise with the Artwork, Regulatory and PMO departments to understand the current launches, site transfers, regulatory process and AW changes that might impact Supply Chain.
\xc2\xb7 Works with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize and lead projects or activities and acts as a primary point of contact for designated projects.
\xc2\xb7 Facilitating project update meetings, and written communication and reports to inform all stakeholders of the progress.
\xc2\xb7 Addresses problems through risk mitigation planning and presents solutions or options to key stakeholders, ensuring effective implementation or initiate or standardize project processes by using ERP, systems, and tools available. Project Ownership and Leadership:
\xc2\xb7 To own and effectively manage projects by building project plans, chairing project meetings, organizing, delegating, and controlling project activities and milestones on an ongoing basis to minimize slippages and ensure timely completion.
\xc2\xb7 Be accountable for accomplishing the stated project objectives.
\xc2\xb7 Support the identification and prioritization of strategic projects, support project management including monitoring the implementation/execution of all strategic projects across the region. Improvement and Efficiencies:
\xc2\xb7 Support PMO activities through introducing/ refining creative solutions and ensuring that these solutions are rolled out and form part of the daily project activities.
\xc2\xb7 Define continuous improvement methodology and priorities for franchise projects that help create operational efficiencies and establish procedures and best practices for continuous improvement Risk Assessment and Issue Resolution:
\xc2\xb7 Proactively identify risks, perform risk assessments and set up mitigation strategies to drive the corrective actions to timely completion in order to minimize impacts of risks on projects. Communication & Relationship:
\xc2\xb7 To build and maintain strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders through proactive communication, leveraging all channels and adapting the approach to different situations and people.
\xc2\xb7 Partner with Functional and Operational leadership teams to drive the implementation of integrated process initiatives through effective and robust communication and change management plans.
\xc2\xb7 Support the development of presentations that deliver concise recommendations to management team with rationale for recommendations, communication, and risk management plansRequirementsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Cert/Diploma - In Supply Chain Training
  • Bachelor Degree
  • Minimum 6 years experience in similar Supply Chain / Projects role
  • 5 years experience in Europe / MENAT
  • 1 years in Pharmaceutical/ FMCG
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
  • Demand Planning / Supply Planning background preferable
  • Excellent skills in MS Office Applications, (Visio, Power Point, Excel)
  • Strong understanding of logistics (physical & financial product trade routes)
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with attention to a high level of diplomacy
  • Understanding of the Sales and Operations Process
  • Strong ability to demonstrate initiative and good judgment in resolving issues affecting customer
  • Basic project management skills
