What you'll be doing:
Business Partnership
+ Overseeing and coordinating various planning functions, including demand and supply planning, production and transport planning, material replenishment planning etc.
+ Translating mid-term to long-term plants into a granular level short-term (capacity) schedule .
+ Ensuring efficient and cost-effective supply chain processes while meeting customer demand and organizational goals.
Key Decision Authorities
+ Develop and implement Supply Chain Planning strategies aligned with the organization's supply chain objectives .
+ Allocate resources to meet planning objectives and ensure availability of goods .
+ Identify areas for process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance planning efficiency .
+ Decide on the adoption of advanced planning tools and technologies.
Role Responsibilities
+ Long-term planning to balance required and available capacity as well as monitor and adjust production plans accordingly in (weekly) coordination with the Plant Manager.
+ Lead the S&OP process.
+ Collaborate with relevant stakeholders (e.g., Plant, Product Management, and Sales team) to develop and maintain demand forecasting models for trading goods and as input for production plan according to the S&OP requirements incl. analyze historical data and market trends to generate accurate forecasts.
+ Develop production schedules and plans based on demand forecasts taking optimization of production efficiency while minimizing costs into account as well as coordinate with the Plant team to ensure production targets are met.
+ Ensure materials and other relevant items are available as needed for production taking supply lead time, vendor constraints and transportation constraints into account in coordination with the Supply Chain coordinator.
+ Translate forecasts into inventory plan as well as manage inventory levels to reduce carrying costs while meeting customer demand by balancing orders, demand and material inventory data together with Procurement and Warehousing team.
+ Identify possible future capacity constraints & bottlenecks in the Supply Chain.
+ Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
+ Measure, analyze and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to planning.
+ Analyze data to identify areas for improvement & cost reduction.

Candidate Profile:
+ Bachelor's degree in supply chain and logistics field is must, Industrial Engineering degree is preferred.
+ Minimum 3-5 years of relevant Supply Chain Planning, forecasting processes and optimization experience.
+ Experience within GCC countries, preferably UAE, KSA, Oman
+ Understanding and experience in the full supply chain process including planning, procurement, logistics, and warehousing.
+ Proficient in Supply Chain Planning software and ERP software to enable planning and reporting.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into high-level analysis and planning.
+ Experience in process improvement and Project Management.
