Job Description

The Supply Chain Officer is responsible for meeting the goals & objectives of BMCs supply chain operations, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of products and services. This role involves collaborating with various departments, suppliers, and logistics partners to optimize inventory levels, monitor procurement activities, and streamline distribution processes. The main duties & responsibilities include:

. Implement supply chain strategies and initiatives to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

. Oversee the procurement process, including sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships.

. Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials and products to meet requesters demands.

. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand, plan production schedules, and coordinate logistics activities.

. Analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance supply chain performance.

. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to supply chain operations.

. Evaluate and select third-party logistics providers and manage their performance to achieve operational objectives.

. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers and internal departments.

. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in supply chain management to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

. Bachelors degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field

. Proven experience in supply chain management

. Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory management, and distribution processes

. Proficiency in using supply chain management software and tools

. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
