Department: Procurement, Location & Region: Dubai-UAEJob PurposeResponsible for managing and optimizing all aspects of the supply chain, logistics and procurement functions to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods and services to support the organisation\'s operations.Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a supply chain strategic plan to meet the businesses objectives.
• Manage and oversee the daily activities of the Supply Chain function.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers and vendors to ensure favourable terms and conditions.
• Oversee the delivery of competitive tendering process and/or framework agreements for major/recurring purchases.
• Manage vendor and supplier relationships and maintaining the approved vendor database.
• Coordinate and communicate well with other business functions and provide efficient and effective supply chain solutions.
• Lead a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance, support, and accountability.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce cost.
• Develop and maintain robust supply chain policies, procedures, and documentation in compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
• Uphold and promote HSEQ standards by adhering to health and safety policies, minimising environmental impact, ensuring quality compliance, and contributing to continual improvement initiatives.
• Will adhere to and always act in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Other duties as directed by company management from time to time.

Key Qualifications/Experience/Competencies

• Bachelor Degree or certificate in supply chain management.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the offshore marine or oil and gas sector with blue chips companies
• Exposure to supply chain in Middle East, West Africa and Gulf of Mexico regions across multiple locations
• Good knowledge of relevant suppliers and vendors and track record of being able to identify new sources of supply.
• Good awareness of legal and operational requirements relating to the sourcing of goods and services.
• Ability to draft and review vendor agreements or contracts
• Strong contract negotiation skills, able to win concessions without jeopardising working relationships.
