Job Title: Supply Chain Manager - Commercial Freight Pricing

Location: Dubai

Department: Supply Chain/Logistics

Reports to: General Manager/Managing Director

Job Summary:

The Supply Chain Manager - Commercial Freight Pricing is responsible for developing and managing freight pricing strategies, negotiating with carriers, and ensuring cost-effective transportation solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of the logistics industry, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to optimize supply chain performance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. •Freight Pricing Strategy:•

- Develop and implement competitive freight pricing strategies.

- Conduct market analysis to benchmark and monitor freight rates.

- Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies in transportation.

2. •Carrier Negotiations:•

- Negotiate contracts and rates with carriers and freight forwarders.

- Establish and maintain relationships with logistics service providers.

- Evaluate carrier performance and ensure compliance with agreed terms.

3. •Cost Management:•

- Analyze and monitor transportation costs and budgets.

- Implement measures to control costs while maintaining service quality.

- Prepare cost-benefit analyses and reports for management.

4. •Logistics Optimization:•

- Optimize routing and scheduling to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

- Coordinate with the operations team to resolve logistics issues.

- Utilize logistics software and tools to enhance supply chain efficiency.

5. •Compliance and Documentation:•

- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.

- Oversee the accuracy of shipping documentation and customs requirements.

- Maintain records of contracts, pricing agreements, and performance metrics.

6. •Collaboration and Communication:•

- Work closely with the procurement, sales, and customer service teams.

- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

- Provide training and support to team members on freight pricing and logistics.

•Qualifications:•

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

- 10 years of experience in Commercial freight pricing.

- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Knowledge of transportation regulations and industry best practices.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Under graduation or certification in Supply Chain Management .

- Experience with international freight and customs regulations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
