This role is responsible for developing and executing production and supply plans that align with demand forecasts, inventory targets, and customer requirements. It oversees the creation of production schedules, material procurement, and logistics operations to optimize efficiency and minimize costs.Key Responsibilities:
Production & Supply Planning: Develop and implement production and supply plans based on demand forecasts, ensuring optimal inventory levels to meet customer needs.
Inventory Management: Oversee regular inventory checks, manage stock levels, track near-expiry items, and coordinate with finance for accurate inventory provisions.
Procurement: Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms, manage purchase orders, and ensure timely delivery of raw materials and packaging.
Logistics Coordination: Optimize transportation routes, manage warehousing, and ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and finished products.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all activities adhere to relevant regulations, including import/export requirements and safety standards.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, sales, and quality control, to ensure smooth operations and material availability.
Performance Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports on key performance indicators such as order fulfillment, inventory levels, forecast accuracy, and logistics efficiency.
Qualifications:
Strong analytical skills with a keen ability to interpret and utilize data to drive decision-making.
Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP, for managing supply chain processes.
Expertise in supply chain data analytics, with the ability to analyze and optimize processes.
7-10 years of proven experience in supply chain management, including production planning, inventory control, procurement, and logistics.
Advanced Excel skills, including data modeling, pivot tables, and complex formula usage.
