The Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the movement of materials and products throughout the supply chain. This includes sourcing, inventory management, order fulfillment, and liaising with vendors and internal teams to maintain optimal stock levels and timely deliveries. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain processes and experience working within the luxury retail or jewelry sector.
Key Responsibilities:
• Vendor Coordination: Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring high standards of quality for materials such as gold, diamonds, and gemstones.
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure the availability of all required items while maintaining optimal stock levels to reduce excess inventory costs.
• Order Fulfillment: Track and manage orders from suppliers, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to support in-store and e-commerce sales.
• Quality Control: Oversee the quality inspection of incoming materials and products, ensuring that they meet company standards and specifications.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, deliveries, and inventory levels, generating regular reports for management review.
• Logistics Coordination: Arrange transportation and warehousing for goods, coordinating with logistics providers to ensure efficient distribution and handling.
• Problem Solving: Address any issues related to supply shortages, delivery delays, or quality concerns, working with vendors to resolve discrepancies.
• Compliance: Ensure that all supply chain activities comply with UAE regulations, as well as company standards for quality and ethical sourcing.
Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: 2+ years of experience in supply chain or logistics, preferably within the luxury retail or jewelry industry.
• Key Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Communication: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with experience in vendor management.
• Adaptability: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-demand environment, and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
