As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will implement quality systems, oversee testing and audits, and drive supplier improvement initiatives to meet industry and regulatory standards.Key Accountabilities:Supplier Quality Planning: Design and implement supplier quality plans, standards, and testing procedures to ensure compliance with requirements and reduce risks.Design & Review: Review drawings, models, and prototypes to ensure adherence to quality standards (e.g., IATG) during the design lifecycle.Supplier Improvement: Ensure suppliers have improvement plans based on data, and monitor their execution.Safety & Maturity Assessments: Conduct supplier safety and maturity assessments, proposing improvements where necessary.Performance Management: Contribute to Supplier Performance Management (SPM), including corrective actions and supplier ratings in coordination with Supply Chain.Risk Mitigation: Perform data analysis on suppliers to identify and mitigate risks.Material Review Board (MRB): Advise on necessary actions regarding supplied materials, systems, and components.Supplier Audits: Conduct supplier audits, ensuring communication, reporting, and action plans are accurate and timely.Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into supplier-related events and injuries, preparing action plans.First Article Inspections (FAI): Ensure FAI compliance and approve supplier reports.APQP Execution: Oversee APQP and ensure deliverables meet required standards and timelines.Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, and Programmes to meet business commitments.Quality Verification: Supervise Incoming Quality verification, testing, and processing activities.Safety Compliance: Ensure workflows and processes comply with safety regulations and documentation meets quality guidelines.Job-Specific Competencies:Knowledge of Quality Assurance Techniques (ISO 9001:2015)Testing Tools & EquipmentMechanical AptitudeQuality EngineeringAdvanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) & FAIExplosives Safety Regulations, Codes, and StandardsTechnical Report WritingExperience and QualificationsMinimum:8+ years in Quality Engineering and explosives environments.3+ years of Lean Six Sigma or statistical process improvement experience.Bachelor's degree in science/engineering with professional certification in explosives.Preferred:3+ years as a Supplier Quality Engineer in explosives environments.Master's degree in a related discipline and certifications in Process Safety or Risk Management.Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.#HALCON
