Join Halcon to ensure the quality and safety of supplied explosive materials and processes. As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will implement quality systems, oversee testing and audits, and drive supplier improvement initiatives to meet industry and regulatory standards. Key Accountabilities: Supplier Quality Planning: Design and implement supplier quality plans, standards, and testing procedures to ensure compliance with requirements and reduce risks. Design & Review: Review drawings, models, and prototypes to ensure adherence to quality standards (e.g., IATG) during the design lifecycle. Supplier Improvement: Ensure suppliers have improvement plans based on data, and monitor their execution. Safety & Maturity Assessments: Conduct supplier safety and maturity assessments, proposing improvements where necessary. Performance Management: Contribute to Supplier Performance Management (SPM), including corrective actions and supplier ratings in coordination with Supply Chain. Risk Mitigation: Perform data analysis on suppliers to identify and mitigate risks. Material Review Board (MRB): Advise on necessary actions regarding supplied materials, systems, and components. Supplier Audits: Conduct supplier audits, ensuring communication, reporting, and action plans are accurate and timely. Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into supplier-related events and injuries, preparing action plans. First Article Inspections (FAI): Ensure FAI compliance and approve supplier reports. APQP Execution: Oversee APQP and ensure deliverables meet required standards and timelines. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, and Programmes to meet business commitments. Quality Verification: Supervise Incoming Quality verification, testing, and processing activities. Safety Compliance: Ensure workflows and processes comply with safety regulations and documentation meets quality guidelines. Job-Specific Competencies: Knowledge of Quality Assurance Techniques (ISO 9001:2015) Testing Tools & Equipment Mechanical Aptitude Quality Engineering Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) & FAI Explosives Safety Regulations, Codes, and Standards Technical Report Writing Experience and Qualifications Minimum: 8+ years in Quality Engineering and explosives environments. 3+ years of Lean Six Sigma or statistical process improvement experience. Bachelor's degree in science/engineering with professional certification in explosives. Preferred: 3+ years as a Supplier Quality Engineer in explosives environments. Master's degree in a related discipline and certifications in Process Safety or Risk Management. Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification. #HALCON
