Supporting our cross-functional commodity and operational procurement teams by conducting qualifications, audits & assessments and developing our global product suppliers is integral part of your daily contribution to implement the supply strategy. You will be working and close networking with multi-cultural environment with different departments locally and globally.How You\'ll Make an Impact
Supplier qualification: support a cross-functional team by assessing supplier capabilities, auditing supplier quality management system & processes, etc.
Product and process qualification: lead or support cross-functional teams to perform product and process qualification (ppq) on commodity parts, systems and field services according to applicable process descriptions and standards. Leading includes the planning, tracking, and reporting of project milestones as well as budget and resource needs.
Support the supplier quality assurance measures along the complete ppq. Approve supplier process via submitted manufacturing quality control plan.
Perform source / virtual / desk inspection of suppliers of components, systems and field services in the area of responsibility.
Coordinate nonconformance processing at the supplier and ensure appropriate actions are taken to prevent recurrence.
Monitor supplier key performance indicators and adjust quality, inspection, and development planning activities accordingly.
Facilitate recurring supplier qualification & development status meetings. Ensure qualifications are on track and potentials risks are identified.
Work with various supplier quality & development tools and databases. Ensure data quality and transparency.
What you Bring
Bachelor\'s or master\'s degree in mechanical, industrial engineering, or a related discipline.
A minimum of 4 years of experience in technical field and/or working in supply chain
Technical experience with industrial process technology and /or field services in energy generation
Knowledge of welding and coating processes.
Familiarity with root cause analysis and other quality & risk management methodologies
Open minded, & solution oriented
Strong analytical thinking skills.
Auditor experience in accordance with iso9001 and / or vda6.3, or as nominated ims supplier auditor (iso9001, iso14001, iso45001) is preferred.
Project management experience is a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills in english
Willingness to travel ~50%
