Overview
Assist the Workshops Management to accomplish aviation unit and intermediate maintenance inspections, services, and repairs on all assigned aircraft components.
Also will be responsible for:
1. Supervises and provides technical guidance to subordinate personnel performing maintenance on aircraft armament equipment.
2. Evaluates maintenance operations and facilities for compliance with directives, technical manuals, work standards, safety procedures, and operational policies.
3. Ensures subordinates manage all forms and records in accordance with the elated publications.
4. Performs maintenance trend analysis and applies production control, quality control, and other maintenance management principles to aircraft armament maintenance and shop operations.
5. Instructs personnel and conducts technical training on aircraft armament maintenance, supply and safety techniques.
6. Evaluates the technical training program on host nation personnel.
7. Serves as the focal point for all parts, tools, shop stock and supply requisitions.
8. Maintains accountability for all tools and equipment assigned to the shop.
9. Keeps a current technical library in accordance with shop mission and equipment.
10. Responsible for all safety matters of personnel and equipment assigned to the Armament Workshop.
11. Responsible for oversight, guidance and counseling of all personnel assigned to them.
12. Responsible for enhancement Shop's capabilities

Qualification
- High School. Must have a Federal Aviation Power Plant (P) license or equivalent.
• Completion of a formal turbine engine training course from an accredited military or civilian aeronautical school.
• Thorough knowledge of common tools, special tools, hardware and equipment used in the maintenance of aircraft turbine engines and components / departments.
• Knowledgeable on The Aviation Maintenance Management System (TAMMS).
Experience
- Minimum of 6-8 Years Experience working with turbine engines relevant to aircraft platform and position.
• Required Skills: Aircraft surface preparation techniques. Thorough knowledge of common tools, special tools, personal protective equipment (PPE) and shop equipment used in the painting, stripping, etching, sanding, sandblasting, and bead blasting of aircraft metal and composite structures.
