• Point of contact with the school management.
• Regular meeting with the MSO (Manager School Operations) and works closely with the MSO to resolve complaints regarding the canteen, alongside the Operations / Catering Manager's support.
• Escalate and direct the school concern to the concerned department (Compliance / HR / Accounts / Events etc).
• Direct point of contact for the parents for the specific schools. Answer their questions and complaints on time or escalate it to the concerned department.
• Weekly meeting with the Operations / Catering Manager to update on the Sales / wastage / other issues at the assigned schools.
• Engage with the Operations / Catering Manager on critical areas of operations & keep the Operations / Catering Manager updated with the issues at the school.
• Responsible to prepare and share the daily sales and inventory reports to the accounts team.
• Responsible to achieve the daily sales target for the assigned schools.
• Responsible for placing and receiving weekly packaging, snacks and cold drinks delivery.
• Responsible for overseeing daily orders.
• Responsible for wastage and monthly stock take.
• Handling staff disputes related to their specific school.
• Regularly update staffs working hours and absentees.
• Responsible to interview and hire new staffs for the schools assigned.
• Make sure that all the documentation is in place - Staff files and other required docs.
• Audit the staff for the inventory, food safety and child protection.
• Liaise directly with the kitchen with regards to food excess or shortage in their designated schools.
• Follow - up with the PIC for the cash sales, answerable to the accounts department for any cash shortage.
• Conduct POS training with school staff on site regularly.
• Training Service and PIC staff to ensure smooth operation.
• Receiving event requests from their specific schools and forwarding to accounts department for quotations. Once approved by school finance department, responsible to oversee set up.
• Welcoming students and school staff, informing them about specials or new items, answering questions, taking recommendations based on their preferences, and up-selling special items.
• Assist in over-the-counter service during breakfast, recess and lunch.
• Communicate customer feedback to Operations / Catering Managers and recommend new menu items.
• Maintain personal hygiene and comply with the food safety protocol.
• Abide with the school policy for child protection.
• Count and record the inventory (opening and closing) and check stock balance for ordering.
• Check and inspect all received food supplies for freshness, quality and quantity against suppliers' invoices / delivery notes, signing and dating the same.
• Ensure that all meals/products displayed in the canteen have production and expiry dates, nutritional information and proper labelling.
• Ensure that all policies and procedures of the canteen are upheld with special regard for Occupational Health and Safety and Food Safety to prevent food spoilage, contamination and subsequent food poisoning.
• Record personal attendance record and ensure that the Operations / Catering Manager signs off at the end of the month.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
