Supervise and direct the daily activities of the Security Guards during work hours and during overtime, ensuring that there are guards at the workshops and stores at all times when there is ongoing work.
Supervise and direct security inspections at the Zayed Military City (ZMC) General Maintenance Corps (GMC) entry area before employees enter GMC.
Monitor the implementation of workshop access security procedures.
Oversee the completion and submission of incident reports by the Security Guards.
Establish, maintain and oversee the daily activities of the Security Guards including maintain a schedule of annual leaves to ensure constant availability of guards.
Ensure all forms used by the Security Guards are up to date.
Initiate and maintain monthly building inspections and submit the results to management.
Supervise security staff assigned to assist in the entry of AL TAIF personnel as they enter the ZMC main gate and the inspection of AL TAIF employees (transported by bus or otherwise) before entry into GMC.
Provide assistance for VIPs accessing the GMC area.
Provide operational guidance and direction in accordance with company policy during routine urgent and emergency situations.
Assist in the development of sit-specific and on-the-job training for Security Guards.
Communicate effectively with individuals at all levels and maintain a professional image.
Support other members of the Security section in fulfilling their roles.
Maintain the confidentiality and security of all company documents.
Perform other duties as required by the Manager, Security.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma is required; a Bachelor\'s degree is preferred; a security certificate/license is an advantage
A minimum of three years of experience in a security administration role for a large company with a multi-cultural workforce is required.
A minimum of two years of experience supervising and/or managing a team of security personnel is preferred.
A minimum of two years of experience in a supervisory position is preferred.
Previous military, security or law enforcement experience is preferred.
Knowledge of database management systems is an advantage.
The ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel is an advantage.
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office is required.
The ability to communicate effectively in both English and Arabic, in writing and verbally is required.
Have, or be able to obtain a valid UAE driver\'s license.
