We are committed to delivering world-class solutions that are innovative and efficient, while always putting safety firstAbout the JobPlan, supervise and monitor all materials handling operations on assigned shift, covering, loading / offloading of materials and equipment on barges / supply boats, shifting material, and equipment between the Company Jetty and tenants Warehouses / material yards, provide labour & equipment to Customers on spot hire basis are carried out in a timely and efficient manner as per the manifest and in adherence with ADNOC procedures, HSE & Quality standards, ILSP Framework agreements and established Tariff. Ensure that all billing source documentation inputs are uploaded through ILMS system.Key Accountabilities
Ensures responsibility of all operations during shifts in adherence to plans and defined company procedures.
Supervises loading and unloading of supply vessels/vehicles in order to ensure adherence to specifications and HSE standards.
Supervises and directs the shifting of material, equipment and general cargo from tenants warehouses / yards to jetty and its subsequent loading on supply vessels for onward shipping to tenants operational locations to ensure observance of proper materials handling procedures and compliance with safety regulations.
Supervises labour & equipment allocation for spot hire jobs upon receiving Customer request and ensures the job is carried out on time in line with HSE policy & procedures.
Receives related manifest through Operations Control Office and/or from tenant representatives, arranges required equipment and manpower, allocates work assignments to subordinate supervisor and ensuring availability of shipments prior to authorising loading to optimize operations and minimize vessels waiting time.
Supervises the checking and offloading of materials / equipment returned from tenants operations locations includes receiving related manifest, directing physical check and tally of cargo on board vessels while accounting for shortage/overage/damage and advising tenants and vessel master accordingly.
Supervises the offloading / loading assigned to subordinate Supervisor of hazardous cargo including explosives & radioactive materials with special care and protection and ensures all safety measures are taken prior to handle such cargos in coordination with HSE Team.
Supervises the handling of heavy / unusual lift and assign subordinate Supervisor and ensures appropriate lifting accessories and safe handling method are used in coordination with HSE Team.
Ensures the safe pumping of Jet A-1 Fuel to Supply vessels in compliance with specific work Instruction/guidelines for this operation in coordination with HSE Team.
Manages the preparation of related discrepancy reports and obtains tenant representatives and vessel master's signatures in adherence to company procedures.
Follows up on overdue deliveries of material with tenants representatives, obtains answers and advices subordinate Supervisor accordingly, ensuring clarity of communications.
Supervises the stacking and storage of bulky materials, pipes and tubular at tenants yards and ensures appropriate protective measures are taken according to good material handling practices and as per tenants requirements.
Ensures safe stacking of pipes and the protective wrapping of tubulars and sensitive material as required.
Deal with tenants urgent or special requests for material handling and supply of manpower and equipment, including contacting tenants to verify requirements, arranging collection of materials from Warehouse, loading on first available vessel and ensures prompt processing of request for additional / substitute manpower / equipment in order to support achievement of department objectives and customer satisfaction.
Ensure by appropriate monitoring and review that work under his control is performed in a safe and environmentally sound manner.
Ensure provision of round the clock duty coverage to meet emergency requirements.
Work in line with HSE Policy and ensures awareness and compliance of HSE rules and regulations by subordinates.
Minimum Requirements
Diploma in Logistics or equivalent.
6 years of experience in ports stevedoring and material handling activity.
Certified Professional Logistician (CPL) preferred.
