Position: Supervisor - Oil Tanker Ship Operations

Location: Khorfakkan / Hamriya / Khalid Ports , Sharjah , UAE

Key Functions:

• Coordinate and oversee slop collection operations from OPL
• Manage bunkering operations to ensure timely and safe fuel transfer
• Develop and implement operational plans to optimize efficiency and safety
• Communicate with port authorities, suppliers, and other stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
• Coordinate crewing schedules, ensuring adequate staffing for all vessels
• Manage crew members' contracts, visas, and certifications
• Communicate effectively with crew members, assisting with any issues that may arise
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or Experience in related field
• 1+ years of experience in maritime operations, with a focus on oil tanker ships
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• In-depth knowledge of slop collection, bunkering procedures, and maritime regulations
• Experience in crewing or maritime operations
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures
• Supervise loading, unloading, and storage of oil cargo
• Coordinate and communicate with crew members and port authorities
• Monitor and maintain all operational equipment on board
• Implement efficient operational strategies to maximize productivity

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in oil tanker ship operations
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Knowledge of safety regulations and industry best practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
