Role Summary As an Escort Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the safe movement of oversized loads, ensuring that all safety regulations and protocols are followed. This role involves driving a vehicle with warning lights to escort trucks hauling oversized agricultural equipment or other large loads. You will coordinate with drivers to navigate traffic and obstacles, ensuring the safety of both the load and other motorists. Your ability to communicate effectively and maintain a high standard of safety is crucial to the successful execution of this role.

Responsibilities . Drive a vehicle in front of or behind an oversized load, providing safe passage for trucks hauling large equipment. . Communicate with truck drivers via two-way radio to alert them of upcoming traffic conditions, obstacles, or safety concerns. . Provide warnings to other motorists and clear traffic as needed to ensure the safe movement of oversized loads on roadways. . Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) and Safety Compliance Rules and Regulations. . Ensure that all safety protocols are followed during escort operations, minimizing risks to personnel and the public. . Monitor the condition of escort vehicles and report any maintenance needs to ensure operational readiness. . Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times, reflecting the high standards of the company. . Document and report any incidents or near-misses during escort operations to promote continuous improvement in safety practices.

Educational Qualifications & Work Experience . High school diploma or equivalent experience. . Previous experience in a similar role preferred. . Valid driver's license with the correct state classification required. . Experience working in environments with year-round outdoor weather conditions and exposure to dust.

Competencies . Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to ensure clear and effective interaction with drivers and other team members. . Good understanding of safety regulations and the ability to enforce them effectively. . Ability to manage tasks and prioritize in dynamic and challenging work environments. . Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain focused in high-pressure situations. .
