Creative Minds, Innovative Thoughts & Quality Output. About the Job - Lead - carpentry Roles and Responsibilities: Assigning and explaining tasks to the team. Communicating with Asst.Production Manager in order to determine the time frames within which tasks should be completed. Responsible for assuring that adequate supplies and materials are available to subordinates at the job site and that work proceeds in a proper manner. Calculating the amount of labour, time, and materials needed for each project. Creating and adjusting project schedules accordingly. Ordering all the necessary materials needed for projects with the Facilities team. Supervising the ASG\xe2\x80\x99s field carpenters, unskilled and semi-skilled workers and subcontractors. Performing all carpentry duties required, including both rough and finish carpentry. Maintaining accurate records of all work done by the project team. Ensure that all safety protocols are followed. Competencies: Diploma in Civil / Mechanical / Production Engineering or Similar Qualification required. Proven supervisory work experience of minimum of 7 to 8 years in site construction sites, production area. Sound knowledge of safety standards and procedures. The ability to safely operate power tools. The ability to read blueprints. Excellent time management skills. Effective communication skills.
