The Role

My client is a leading EPC contractor who specialise in oil and gas and marine projects. They are currently looking to recruit an experienced sub contracts engineer for a project in the UAE. The role will involve the following; - Procure Subcontracts as allocated by the Subcontract Manager and ensure subcontracts are delivered as per the Project Procurement Plan requirements (Time, Cost, Quality). - Draft and negotiate relevant agreements (i.e. Subcontract or Services Agreement) in coordination with the Subcontracts Manager. - Assist the Subcontracts Manager for all the post awards activities until the handing over of the subcontract works, including variations and claims management and drafting of the relevant correspondence. - Coordinate with all relevant in-house departments to ensure all requirements are included in the bidding documents - including flow down of the Main Contract/Client's requirements - and prepare/issue the RFQ to the subcontractors of the Bidders lists. - Day-to-day review and follow up on contractual rights & duties for each subcontract. Notify the Subcontracts Manager of any contractual deviations and communicate their possible impact.



Requirements

• Candidates should have an engineering degree and should be able to demonstrate a successful career as a sub contracts engineer working on oil and gas projects in the middle east. - Experience of working on Adnoc projects would be an advantage.
