The primary role of a student recruitment advisor is to actively engage with prospective applicants, providing guidance and support in their decision-making process regarding higher education programs. They play a crucial role in promoting the institution and its offerings, while also effectively managing leads and providing timely responses to inquiries.
Responsibilities
Actively engage with prospective applicants and gain greater understanding of educational needs to help them to make clear and concise decisions on education programs
Manage incoming leads and conduct lead filtering activities
Review and evaluate applications for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with admission criteria
Collaborate with the admissions team to make informed decisions on applicant admission status
Respond promptly to general inquiries from prospective students, providing accurate and helpful information.
Provide weekly reports
Provide assistance to the Student Recruitment team
Create persuasive and informative content that effectively promotes the institution and its programs
Plan, coordinate, and execute admissions events, ensuring smooth logistics and a positive experience for prospective students
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor\'s degree in a relevant field (Master\'s degree preferred)
Previous experience in student recruitment, admissions, or related roles is highly desirable
Previous experience in Higher Education
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Familiarity with current trends, best practices, and technology in student recruitment.
Proficiency in using CRM systems, social media platforms, and Microsoft Office suite
Knowledge of higher education policies, regulations, and enrolment management practices.
