PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Conduct site inspections to ensure that all structural elements are being built according to the design plans and specifications. Review and approve structural design drawings and calculations. Coordinate with the project team to ensure that all structural work is being completed on schedule and within budget.JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Conduct regular inspections of structural elements (e.g., foundations, beams, columns) to ensure compliance with project specifications and relevant codes.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, including observations, non-conformance reports, and corrective actions taken.
• Work closely with engineers, contractors, and other site personnel to address any structural issues and provide technical guidance.
• Ensure that all materials and workmanship meet project quality standards and specifications.
• Monitor construction activities for adherence to safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Prepare and submit inspection reports, highlighting any issues and recommending solutions.
• Identify potential problems in structural integrity and propose effective solutions to mitigate risks.
• Perform field measurements and calculations as necessary to verify compliance with design documents.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in construction building inspection or construction supervision.
• Should have at least 5 years of relevant experience as structural inspector in the UAE.
• Must have work experience from design consulting firms in the GCC.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
