Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Project Engineer to join our team at Fables Interiors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for structural analysis and design while also managing project execution and estimations. The role requires a strong understanding of structural principles, project management skills, and the ability to estimate costs accurately. A valid driving license is preferred, as the position may involve site visits and client interactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Structural Engineering:
• Analyze, design, and assess structural elements for interior projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and codes.
• Collaborate with the design team to integrate structural requirements into the overall project plan.
• Conduct site visits to inspect and validate structural integrity during and after construction.
• Project Management:
• Plan, execute, and oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines, quality, and budgetary goals are met.
• Coordinate with architects, designers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless execution.
• Address on-site challenges and propose effective solutions in real-time.
• Estimation and Costing:
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for projects, including materials, labor, and other associated costs.
• Monitor project expenses to ensure alignment with the approved budget.
• Evaluate cost escalations and provide recommendations to minimize financial impact.
• Technical Expertise and Compliance:
• Stay updated on industry standards, materials, and construction methods.
• Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including designs, schedules, and progress reports.
• Present project updates to management and stakeholders as required.
• Site Visits and Coordination:
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure project milestones are met.
• Coordinate with logistics for material delivery and manage on-site resources efficiently.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in structural design and project management, preferably in interior or construction projects.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD, ETABS) and project management tools.
• Strong understanding of estimation and costing principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Effective communication and coordination skills.
• Other Requirements:
• A valid driving license (preferred).
• Familiarity with interior fit-out projects is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
