Job Title: Structural Engineer

Department: Engineering / Construction

Reports to: Project Manager / Engineering Manager

Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Structural Engineer with expertise in steel structures (conventional and Pre-Engineered Buildings - PEB) to manage the design, preparation, and execution of LED screen steel structure and cladding drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Drawings:

Prepare detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings for LED screen steel structures and cladding.

Perform structural calculations for safety and compliance with design standards.

Method Statements & Risk Assessment:

Create method statements outlining construction procedures.

Prepare risk assessments to identify hazards and mitigation strategies.

Site Execution:

Oversee steel structure installation at the site, ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety standards.

Coordinate site activities and resolve construction challenges.

Coordination & Approvals:

Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and consultants to ensure smooth project execution.

Quality & Safety:

Monitor material quality and ensure compliance with design and safety standards.

Inspect and ensure safety compliance on-site.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education: Mechanical Engineering .

Experience: 3-5 years in structural engineering, particularly with steel structures and LED screens.

Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, knowledge of steel structure design, local building codes, and experience in site execution.

Certifications: Health and safety certification (OSHA or equivalent) is an advantage.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to manage construction challenges and meet deadlines.
