Job Description

Structural Engineer (Draftsman)

Responsibilities:

• Lead the structural design process for high-rise building projects (30+ floors)
• Perform structural analysis and calculations using advanced engineering software (e.g., ETABS, STAAD.Pro)
• Develop and detail structural elements, including foundations, beams, columns, and slabs
• Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and other disciplines to ensure a coordinated design
• Prepare construction drawings and specifications for tendering and construction purposes
• Conduct constructability reviews to identify and mitigate potential challenges
• Liaise with local authorities to obtain necessary approvals
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Dubai Municipality building codes and regulations (e.g., Dubai Building Code)
• Contribute to the development and implementation of project quality standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 3~5 years of experience in structural engineering design, with a focus on high-rise buildings
• Proven experience in performing complex structural analysis and calculations
• Proficiency in structural engineering software (e.g., ETABS, STAAD.Pro)
• Excellent understanding of structural design principles and construction practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Fluency in English; Arabic language skills a plus
