Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer with 5-10 years of experience in structural design and analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both commercial and residential projects, demonstrating proficiency in structural engineering software and a thorough understanding of building codes and regulations. This role offers an opportunity to lead projects, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality designs.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the structural design and analysis of projects from conception to completion, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards.
• Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish structural integrity, stability, and safety of various structures.
• Prepare and review drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure project requirements are met and design objectives are achieved.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to assess existing conditions and monitor construction progress.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and technical staff.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations to discuss project proposals and deliverables.
• Utilize structural analysis software and tools effectively to optimize designs and resolve complex engineering problems.
• Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in structural engineering.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering; Master's degree preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 5-10 years of experience in structural engineering, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software such as ETABS, SAP2000, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations (IBC, ACI, AISC, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously is desirable.
