Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

• Create Technical Drawings : Produce detailed structural drawings, plans, and diagrams based on engineers' designs, adhering to local codes and standards.
• Coordinate with Engineers : Collaborate with structural engineers to review and revise design specifications to ensure practical and accurate drafting.
• Detailing and Documentation : Prepare, update, and maintain documentation of construction drawings, including revisions and any change orders during the project lifecycle.
• Site Coordination : Attend project meetings and liaise with construction teams to resolve issues on-site and make adjustments to drawings as needed.
• Compliance & Standards : Ensure all drafted documents comply with relevant engineering standards, construction codes, and regulations specific to the UAE and the region.
• Material Specifications : Include detailed information on materials, dimensions, and other necessary specifications in structural drawings.
• Software Proficiency : Use CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools to generate accurate and professional-quality drawings.
• Assist in Project Planning : Support senior engineers with technical aspects of the project, ensuring timelines, budgets, and technical requirements are met.
• Quality Control : Review drawings for quality and consistency, identifying any discrepancies or errors before final approval.

Qualifications :

• Education : Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering, or related fields.
• Experience :
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Structural Draughtsman in construction, preferably within the UAE or GCC region.
• Experience in drafting for both residential and commercial construction projects.
• Technical Skills :
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant drafting software.
• Strong knowledge of structural principles, construction materials, and building codes.
• Familiarity with UAE Regulations : In-depth knowledge of local and international standards for structural design and construction.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED7,000\.00 - AED10,000\.00 per month
