Vacancy Announcement: Structural Design Engineer

Position: Structural Design Engineer
Location: UAE
Salary: AED 6,000 (Lumpsum Package)

Job Summary:
We are seeking Structural Design Engineers with expertise in steel structure design and analysis . The ideal candidates should have experience in designing, analyzing, and constructing structural elements for buildings and other steel structures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and analyze steel structural elements for buildings, warehouses, and industrial projects.
• Develop detailed design calculations for steel and steel-to-concrete connections, using tools like STAAD. Pro/ETABS , and obtain approvals from contractors, clients, and consultants.
• Review shop drawings prepared in Tekla and AutoCAD, managing modeling and detailing teams.
• Perform connection design using software like IDEA StatiCa, RAM, or LIMCON , or custom Excel spreadsheets.
• Prepare quantity take-offs for steel structures from tender/IFC drawings.
• Conduct site visits to assess structures and address potential issues.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders on structural designs.
• Stay updated with industry standards and regulations for structural design.

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred).
• Experience: At least 5 years in structural design engineering, including large-scale construction projects.
• Proficiency in STAAD. Pro, ETABS, AutoCAD, and Revit .
• Familiarity with American and British Steel Design Codes .
• Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
