Role Description

We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with a valid Dubai Municipality license (Consultant Category) to join our team. This role requires a minimum of 10 years of UAE experience, with a G+4 license at minimum (G+12 preferred), and demonstrated expertise across structural design, authority approvals, architectural coordination, and project execution.

The Structural Engineer will lead the entire design and approval process, from concept development through execution, ensuring exceptional quality across all deliverables while maintaining client relationships and driving technical excellence. The ideal candidate combines engineering expertise with strong project management skills.

Responsibilities:

Lead the full structural design process for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. Manage all Dubai Municipality and relevant authority submissions and approvals with precision and efficiency. Coordinate closely with architectural and fit-out teams to ensure integrated, buildable designs. Oversee projects from concept to completion from a project management perspective, including timeline, cost control, and quality assurance. Apply value engineering principles to optimize design efficiency and project cost without compromising quality. Liaise confidently with clients, consultants, and contractors, resolving technical issues and ensuring smooth execution. Review and validate structural calculations, BOQs, technical drawings, and shop drawings. Monitor on-site execution to ensure compliance with approved design and authority regulations.

Qualifications:

Dubai Municipality Structural Engineer License (Consultant Category) - G+4 required, G+12 preferred Minimum 10 years of UAE-based experience in structural engineering with consultancy firms Demonstrated success in securing design approvals from Dubai Municipality and other relevant authorities Proficiency in structural software such as ETABS, SAFE, STAAD, AutoCAD, and Revit Strong understanding of fit-out and architectural design coordination Proven ability to manage projects end-to-end, including client interaction, scheduling, budgeting, and contractor communication Skilled in value engineering and capable of providing practical, cost-effective design solutions Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (Master's preferred) Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
