Job Description
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:The purpose of the job of a Structural BIM Modeler is to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and collaboration in the design and construction processes of structural engineering projects.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and manage detailed 3D structural BIM models using Revit.
- Ensure models comply with project standards and BIM execution plans.
- Integrate structural models with architectural, MEP, and other discipline models.
- Resolve design clashes and inconsistencies.
- Generate accurate construction documents, drawings, and schedules from BIM models.
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date documentation.
- Perform quality checks on models to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Implement best practices for BIM modeling and project execution.
- Work closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in coordination meetings to ensure seamless integration of structural elements.
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience as a Structural BIM Modeler in design consulting companies in the GCC.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit software for BIM modeling.
- Strong knowledge of Navisworks for clash detection and coordination.
- Excellent knowledge of structural engineering principles and construction processes.
- Must be locally available in the UAE
