Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Structural BIM Modeler to join our team in the UAE. The successful candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering and BIM modeling, with at least 4-6 years of experience in a consulting environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and managing structural BIM models, coordinating with engineers and architects, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

1\.Develop detailed 3D BIM models for structural components such as foundations, beams, columns, slabs, and other structural elements based on design specifications and drawings.

2\. Collaborate with structural engineers, architects, and MEP teams to ensure the structural model is integrated properly within the overall project BIM model.

3\. Develop and implement BIM standards and best practices within the team to ensure consistency and quality in all project models.

4\. Collaborate with project managers to ensure all models are delivered on time and in accordance with the project schedule.

5\. Troubleshoot and resolve model-related issues.

6\. Maintain and update BIM models throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design changes.

Qualifications and Experience:

1\. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.

2\. 4-6 years of experience in structural BIM modeling, with a focus on structural design and modeling for large-scale projects.

3\. Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, 4\. Solid knowledge of UAE local building codes, regulations, and standards.

5\. Engineering consulting experience is preferred.

6\. Strong skills in clash detection, model coordination, and conflict resolution using BIM tools (e.g., Revit, Navisworks).

Preferred Qualifications:

1\. Certification in BIM modeling, such as Autodesk Certified User.

2\. Experience with other BIM software, such as Naviswork
