Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Strength & Conditioning Coach to join our health club team. This role focuses on guiding the general population through effective strength and conditioning programs, with an emphasis on Hyrox (CrossFit knowledge and experience is a plus). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in functional fitness and be passionate about helping clients achieve their fitness goals through structured and dynamic training sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
? Program Development: Design and implement individualized and group strength and conditioning programs tailored to clients of various fitness levels, emphasizing Hyrox style workouts.
? Coaching & Instruction: Lead group training sessions, providing clear guidance, motivation, and expert coaching to ensure clients perform exercises with proper technique and form.
? Client Assessment: Conduct fitness assessments to establish baseline metrics, track progress, and make necessary adjustments to programs to meet clients' evolving needs and goals.
? Personal Training: Offer personalized training sessions to clients, utilizing advanced knowledge in functional fitness, complex barbell work, and endurance training.
? Event Participation & Promotion: Assist in organizing and promoting fitness events, challenges, and competitions within the health club to foster community engagement.
? Education & Injury Prevention: Educate clients on proper exercise techniques, injury prevention strategies, and overall health and wellness best practices.
? Collaboration: Work closely with other fitness coaches and staff to maintain a supportive, inclusive, and motivating environment for all members.
? Continuous Learning: Stay informed about the latest trends, research, and advancements in high-intensity training and functional fitness to enhance coaching practices.
Requirements:
? Experience: Minimum of 2 years of coaching experience in a high-intensity training environment, preferably with Hyrox or CrossFit.
? Certification: Relevant fitness certifications (e.g., CrossFit Level 2, NSCA, ACSM) are required.
? Competed in Hyrox/CrossFit: Experience competing in Hyrox events or similar functional fitness competitions.
? Technical Skills: Proficiency in complex barbell movements, endurance training, and running techniques.
? Client-Centric: Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on helping clients achieve their personal fitness goals.
? PT Growth: Must be eager to grow your personal training business within our club.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
