Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) is a lead function within the broader Advisory Services arm of Visa, driving tangible, impactful and financial results for Visa\'s network clients, including financial institutions, merchants, governments and fintechs. Drawing on our expertise in strategy consulting, data analytics, marketing, operational improvement and macroeconomics, VCA solves the most strategic problems for our clients. Our mission centers around improving the performance and profitability of our clients around the world.
The VCA Strategy & Operations team within VCA CEMA is responsible for building up the supporting infrastructure to drive the accelerated growth plan for the world\'s pre-eminent payments advisory organization. This includes setting standards, defining go-to-market approaches, creating global platforms and solutions, plus driving operational performance for the function.
This Manager, Strategy and Operations role will work on strategic and operational projects that have significant impact across the team. Reporting to the Senior Director, Head of Strategy & Operations for VCA CEMEA, this individual will help drive business planning, strategic initiatives, and operational oversight for the VCA business globally. He or she will take accountability of several key regional strategic initiatives for the organization, working closely with counterparts around the world to deliver value and advance VCA\'s growth agenda.
Some example initiatives through which you could make an impact:
Collaborate with Visa product and sales teams to manage and track the implementation of strategic initiatives and operational functions
Drive benchmarking studies in payments consulting industry to help shape VCA strategy
Represent CEMEA as regional knowledge champion and continuously partner with peers in other regions and global knowledge management team to drive knowledge exchange regionally and globally
Work with CEMEA Cluster Leads and teams to showcase project work
Track CEMEA metrics that to be shared at all-staff meetings and with the Leadership team to drive knowledge contributions in the clusters
Partner with Visa University, People teams and other Visa teams to build and enhance the training offering for VCA CEMEA team
Be CEMEA point of contact for VCA training and manage training logistics
Collaborate with Communications teams to ensure alignment on thought leadership content and promotion; engage with Cluster and Practice Areas to ensure VCA CEMEA is producing regular and relevant thought-provoking content
Apply an employee-centric view to redesign/scale the onboarding experience for new joiners
Support a go-to-market client approach aligning VCA with other Visa Value Added Services and functions
Stand up a new process to ensure VCA regularly captures actionable post-engagement client feedback
The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, highly collaborative team player who is flexible and proactive at identifying and resolving issues.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent, 3-7 years work experience (depending on relevance)
Previous experience in similar role in large multinational or consulting company preferred
Strong planning and problem solving skills
Knowledge of consulting/advisory operating models a plus
Team oriented and collaborative
Role based on UAE/Dubai, covering entire CEMEA region (Sub-Saharan Africa, North Africa, Levant, Pakistan, CIS-SEE, GCC)
Travel is not required
