Job Description

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control the performance of the STP (Sewage Treatment Plants) and RO (Reverse Osmosis) systems, including flow rates, chemical dosages, and effluent quality.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of pumps, valves, filters, membranes, and other equipment.
• Collect water samples, conduct laboratory tests, and analyse results to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Optimize chemical dosing to achieve desired water quality and minimize operational costs.
• Manage the disposal of sludge by environmental regulations.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of plant operations, maintenance activities, and water quality data.
• Adhere to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and emergency response procedures.
• Analyse plant performance data to identify trends, optimize operations, and improve efficiency.

Job Qualifications/Requirements:

• Diploma or certificate in water treatment, environmental engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in operating and maintaining STP and RO systems.
• Strong understanding of wastewater treatment processes, including biological, chemical, and physical treatment.
• Knowledge of relevant environmental regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and control panel displays.
