Job Description

1. Position Objectives

. Storekeepers manage, supervise, or perform a variety of tasks in ordering, receiving, storing, and accounting for, distributing, shipping, and issuing equipment, apparatus, materials, and supplies; and perform other related duties as required.

2. Key Roles & Responsibilities

. Organizes and controls the flow of material

. Stores organization acts as a custodial and controlling agency

. Responsible for safety and physical control

. Permits quantity buying

. Maintain an inventory of vendors and suppliers

. Report missing items to suppliers and receive orders

3. Experience / Education / Training

. Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent

. 3-4 related experience as a storekeeper

.Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a stockroom or warehouse environment
