Job Summary

:

The Store Keeper for Ink and Chemicals will be responsible for managing and controlling the inventory of inks, chemicals, and other related materials used in the printing press industry. The ideal candidate will have experience working with these specialized materials, ensuring their proper storage, handling, and timely delivery to the production floor while maintaining safety and compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities

:

Maintain accurate records of ink, chemicals, and related consumables used in the printing process. Monitor stock levels and ensure proper replenishment to prevent shortages or overstocking. Ensure proper categorization and labeling of chemicals and inks based on type, color, and other specifications. Perform regular stock counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy. Report any discrepancies, overstock, or shortage issues to the supervisor and recommend corrective actions. Assist in preparing inventory reports on stock levels, material usage, and reordering needs. Maintain records of expired, damaged, or unusable materials and arrange for disposal in compliance with safety guidelines.

Working Conditions

:

Full-time position. Physical work including lifting and moving materials. Work in a warehouse environment with exposure to inks and chemicals.
