We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Store Keeper to manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of our storage and inventory systems. The Store Keeper will ensure the smooth receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, maintaining accurate records, and supporting stock control functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
Receive, inspect, and store products and materials in accordance with company procedures.
Monitor stock levels and reorder items as necessary to ensure that the store remains well-stocked.
Perform regular stock checks and update inventory records accordingly.
Order Fulfillment:
Ensure the accurate and timely picking, packing, and delivery of products to other departments or customers as needed.
Ensure that all orders are properly documented and processed according to procedures.
Stock Organization:
Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety of the storage area.
Label items and manage shelving systems for efficient access.
Organize and categorize goods for easy identification and access.
Record Keeping:
Maintain detailed and accurate inventory records, including incoming and outgoing stock.
Update inventory management systems regularly.
Prepare and submit stock reports as requested by the supervisor.
Quality Control:
Inspect incoming stock for quality and accuracy.
Report damaged or defective goods to the relevant department and ensure they are removed from inventory.
Safety & Compliance:
Adhere to health and safety regulations for storage and handling of goods.
Ensure proper stock rotation and prevent damage, spoilage, or theft.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Store Keeper, Warehouse Assistant, or similar role.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Good understanding of inventory management and stock control systems.
Ability to lift and move goods if Required.
Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of health and safety procedures in a store or warehouse environment.
Basic computer skills (e.g., MS Office, inventory management software)
Basic Knowledge or User experience oodo Will be a plus.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Certification in inventory management or logistics (preferred but not required).
