Job Title: Store Keeper

Job Overview:
The Store Keeper will be responsible for managing and overseeing the inventory of materials, tools, and supplies within the warehouse of Al Yaqeen Carton Works LLC. This role is crucial in ensuring that production runs smoothly by maintaining proper stock levels, organizing the storage of materials used in carton printing and packaging, and keeping accurate records of inventory.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials, including printing presses, packaging supplies, and other production-related items.
Maintain accurate stock records for all items and materials in the warehouse.
Monitor and maintain optimum inventory levels to avoid production delays.
Perform periodic physical inventory counts and reconcile with records.
Storage & Organization:
Ensure proper storage of materials in a safe, organized, and easily accessible manner.
Implement a system for labeling and categorizing items (e.g., printing plates, inks, paper rolls, etc.) for quick retrieval.
Ensure that the storage area is clean, organized, and complies with health and safety regulations.
Issuance of Materials:
Issue materials to production departments based on the requirements and production schedules.
Ensure the correct quantity and type of materials are provided and document issuance.
Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
Stock Control & Replenishment:
Monitor stock levels regularly and inform the management team of the need to reorder supplies or materials.
Assist in the preparation of purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
Record Keeping & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of all stock movements (receipts, issues, returns) using manual or computerized systems.
Generate and provide regular reports on stock levels, usage trends, and material needs to the relevant departments.
Assist with audits and prepare necessary documentation for stock audits.
Health & Safety Compliance:
Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and best practices in the storage and handling of materials, especially chemicals, inks, and other hazardous materials.
Report any safety hazards or irregularities to the supervisor.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the production, purchasing, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless material flow and support for ongoing operations.
Assist in coordinating the movement of materials for maintenance or repair work when necessary.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Additional certifications in inventory management or warehouse operations are a plus.
Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a storekeeper, preferably in a printing press, manufacturing, or carton packaging environment.
Skills:
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in inventory management systems (e.g., ERP software, MS Excel).
Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and best practices.
Ability to lift and move materials manually when required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions:
Full-time position.
Working hours: 08:30 AM to 06:30 PM (Monday to Saturday)
Occasional overtime may be required to meet production deadlines.
