Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

• Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems.
• Conduct regular stock checks and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Manage stock levels and report any discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager.

Receiving Goods:

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Record and document any damaged or missing items.
• Ensure that all received goods are properly labeled and stored in designated areas.

Order Fulfillment:

• Pick and pack customer orders according to packing lists and shipping instructions.
• Ensure that all orders are processed accurately and dispatched in a timely manner.
• Prepare and process shipping documentation, including labels and invoices.

Storage Management:

• Organize and maintain the storage areas to ensure easy access and efficient space utilization.
• Implement and adhere to safety and housekeeping standards within the storage areas.

Coordination and Communication:

• Coordinate with other departments, such as purchasing and customer service, to resolve any inventory or order issues.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth operations.

Equipment and Maintenance:

• Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners.
• Perform routine maintenance and report any equipment malfunctions.

Compliance and Safety:

• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the fulfillment center.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics, supply chain management, or related field is a plus.
• Proven experience as a storekeeper or in a similar role within a warehouse or fulfillment center.
• Proficient in inventory management software and systems.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and orders.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items, and operate warehouse equipment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
