STOREKEEPER - AUTOMOTIVE SUMMARY The storekeeper is responsible for the maintenance of a department\xe2\x80\x99s/organization\xe2\x80\x99s storeroom, performing activities such as stocking of operational materials and supplies, inventory control and records, purchasing, and related duties as required. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES \xc2\xb7 Take delivery of all incoming materials and reconcile with purchase orders \xc2\xb7 Track, document, and resolve any discrepancies on received orders \xc2\xb7 Ensure accuracy of the facility\xe2\x80\x99s inventory system by updating records of physical inventory totals, receipts, adjustments, and returns \xc2\xb7 Manage inventory/supplies and ensure they are within the established minimum and maximum levels \xc2\xb7 Keep up-to-date records of receipts, records, and withdrawals from the stockroom \xc2\xb7 Responsible for packing, pricing, labeling, and returning supplies \xc2\xb7 Responsible for stock rotation and coordinate the disposal of surpluses \xc2\xb7 Oversee the handling of freight, the movement of equipment, and minor repairs \xc2\xb7 Always maintain minimum order quantity of fast-moving items

• Conducts regular inventory checks, random checks on at least a weekly basis, and thorough checks on at least a monthly basis.

\xc2\xb7 Responsible for shipping cancelled or damaged items back to suppliers as appropriate. REQUIRED EDUCATION Minimum Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree (Accounts) or equivalent REQUIRED EXPERIENCE More than 5 years of experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or recordkeeping REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE Knowledge of proper bookkeeping and inventory management Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a stockroom or warehouse environment Analytical mind with ability to make accurate mathematical computations Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient in MS Office Knowledge in SAP or any other ERP application is mandatory. Competencies in data entry, analysis, and management Keen attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time Skills to operate common office equipment Physical ability to frequently lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 lbs LANGUAGE SKILLS English: \xe2\x98\x92 Required Job Type: Full-time Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
