Job Position : Storekeeper

Position Overview:

We are seeking a diligent and organized Storekeeper with at least 2 years of experience in the food and beverage industry. The ideal candidate will manage inventory, ensure proper storage of items, and maintain accurate records. Basic proficiency in English and computer skills are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inventory Management:

Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods and materials.

Maintain accurate stock levels and ensure timely reordering of items.

Organize and manage inventory storage to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.

2. Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate records of all stock transactions using computer software.

Prepare and submit inventory and stock usage reports.

3. Compliance:

Ensure proper handling and storage of food and beverage items in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Regularly inspect storage areas for cleanliness and adherence to standards.

4. Coordination:

Work closely with the purchasing and operations teams to ensure availability of required items.

Handle stock requests from various departments promptly and efficiently.

5. General Duties:

Perform periodic stock checks and audits to reconcile inventory levels.

Address any discrepancies or issues related to inventory.

Qualifications and Skills:

At least 2 years of experience in a food and beverage environment.

Basic proficiency in English (spoken and written).

Competence in using computers and inventory management software.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.

Additional Requirements:

Physically fit to handle lifting and moving of goods.

Familiarity with food storage standards is a plus.

Work Environment:

Primarily warehouse or storage facilities, with occasional interaction with kitchen and operational teams.

Salary and Benefits:

Competitive salary based on experience 1500 -2000 AED.
